Charming antique bisque porcelain figurine pair depicting a country peasant couple. Each stands 10 5/8" tall and 6.5" wide. The male holds a bird with a walking stick, and the female carries a rake. Hand-painted with rich detail. Some age wear; male has a small chip on the base (see photos).
